The Vaccine Research Group at Clinical Research Network India, works to improve the health of individuals across the world by pursuing challenges posed by infectious diseases through clinical, laboratory and epidemiologic vaccine research. The research group and affiliated laboratory seeks to understand bacterial and viral vaccine response important to public health. Vaccine group evaluates vaccine through a series of trials to asses product for safety, immunogenicity and efficacy before they are approved for marketing licensure. All clinical vaccine trials are bound by international ethical guidelines and Good Clinical Practice is defined by the International Conferences on Harmonization (ICH) as: “A standard for the design, conduct, performance, monitoring, auditing, recording, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials that provides assurance that the data and reported results are credible and accurate, and that the rights, integrity and confidentiality of trial subjects are protected.”
